My Bio

I have a strong background in playwriting and theatre, for which I trained during my degree in Drama and Theatre, followed by a Masters in Creative Writing. I have specialised skills in playwriting and both screen-writing and writing for graphic novels.



Two of my plays have been published and I have developed my work with the Traverse Theatre & other Edinburgh based companies. In February 2015 I had a two week writers residency in a book shop in Wigtown. In September 2015, October 2017 and February 2018, I produced my site specific horror play Vaults. Initially staged in a medieval crypt with a cast of local actors and recently as part of the Edinburgh Horror Festival in the haunted Banshee Labyrinth, before returning to the haunted crypts.



I am currently adapting several short sci-fi short stories into audio dramas for Shoreline of Infinity, Scotland's leading Science Fiction magazine, of which we have presented several at Hidden Door Festival, Edinburgh Science Festival and International Book Festival.

This year's Horror festival promises two new shows including Foxgloves and The Boat, the latter of which is a site specific zombie play staged on a boat.
